Handy and Dandy

Yarn: superwash sport weight sock yarn hand-dyed by me

Needles: US1 DPNs for the fingers, long circs for the body of the hand. US1 is quite small needle for this yarn, resulting in a very tight fabric. I like my gloves to be warm!

Method: A pattern of my own design. Cuff worked in K1P1 on row one, then P1K1 on row 2. Used asymmetrical thumb gusset to create a distinctly left and right glove, from instructions in an Interweave Knits article about gloves. 45 stitches for cuff and body of hand, 16 stitches for each finger. These fit me very snugly.
