Wow..I loved your dreadlocks. I had dreads and wraps in my hair about 14 years ago (wow, that sounds like along time ago - I've only just turn 33). I remember the freedom I felt when I had a No.2 crew cut - no hair brushes but lots of head massages though.
I have one dread underneath at the back. I'm thinking of using it to tie my other hair back. At the moment my hair matts like crazy since I had No.3 baby. My hair texture has changed. I'm tempted to do it again but I'm starting to go grey. I'm not sure if grey dreads would look so great...
I hope you have an amazing time in CA as well as over here in the Elkhorns. Can't wait to see where you end up going--post some pictures! I think we'll be able to get one more early fall trip into the Eagle Caps this year...I need at least one more time in the mountains before winter hits!
Given that I only met you once or twice at knitting. i wonder if I will ever recognize you again! But my real point in commenting on this is this: Is Chantel a hairstylist by trade? Mine became a real estate agent and I need a new one!
