It's so beautiful, and I'm sure that *one more* repeat will make it the perfect size. And I think you may be surprised how much it will soften up in a Eucalan (or Kookabura) bath.

Hi Irie -- can you be more specific about the yarn -- scratchy or "thick" ... I need to order some yarn for vacation project and was thinking about this ... and Addi needles? I have to keep my luggage light but can get some stuff sent in advance tee hee hee! I am back home after London arm surgery and hope to finish the grapevine socks this weekend! Maryjo

I have a shawl that my mother made for me in this yarn, and I love it. And crunchy is the right word for it. Beautiful shawl - I think one more repeat is perfect!

Running out of sockyarn? I'm affraid I don't quite understand what that means :) The shawl is absolutely growing up to be a lovely woman, so to speak. It's beautiful!

What a beautiful shawl! I love the rustic look the yarn gives it. Yum. Can your hubby send you some stash yarn while you are in Vancouver??

That is a beautiful lace pattern. Really gorgeous. I can see why you don't want it to end.
